What is SafePlus?
A Smarter Way to Improve Workplace Safety

SafePlus is a WorkSafe-endorsed framework designed to help businesses improve health and safety performance beyond compliance. Developed by WorkSafe NZ, ACC, and MBIE, it provides an independent assessment of leadership, worker engagement, and risk management—helping organisations move from basic compliance to a proactive, high-performing safety culture.

SafePlus assessments can only be delivered by WorkSafe-accredited assessors who are listed on the Health and Safety Association New Zealand (HASANZ) register and have successfully completed the SafePlus Assessor course, like our founder, Dave Pinchen. Even if you choose not to work with us, these SafePlus Assessor requirements are the only way for you to ensure you are commissioning a genuine SafePlus Onsite Assessment.
